Kristian has more than 25 years of experience, mainly in management positions within tourism and hotel companies in intensive development. In a series of key positions in his career, among other things, he led companies that dictated the trends of national tourism development through their business operations and that positioned themselves in such a way that they assumed the role of managing the transition of the tourism development model by determining the direction of changes, initiating, and stimulating quality development projects, and educating the destination through the introduction of new trends. Precisely because of the distinct dynamics of business and development, during a career, often held several functions at the same time.
He was the CEO of Maistra d.d., part of the Adris Group, the largest national investor in the tourism industry and after this the CEO of Dubrovnik Riviera Hotels Inc. and Member of the Board of HUP Zagreb. Before coming to his current position he was the CDO and Member of the Board at Uniline Travel Company, one of the leading destination management companies in southeast Europe. During his entire career he was active in the local and national tourism community, as member of the Council and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Croatian National Tourist Board, President of the Association of Employers in Croatia, a national association of hoteliers, and from 2011 he is a lecturer at VERN University of Applied Sciences.
